What is the Parade of Playhouses?

The Parade of Playhouses is the KCHBA’s Home Builders Charitable Foundation spring fundraiser. This event is fun and creative, allowing local area high school career centers to design and build unique playhouses to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. 

2024 Parade of Playhouses

  • WHERE:  Haverty Family Yards, Union Station 
  • WHEN: April 9 through April 14, 2024 
  • Bidding: Begins 9:00 a.m. April 9 and ends April 14 at 5:00 p.m. 
  • Proceeds Benefit: Science City at Union Station to support STEM learning
  • Recognition & Awards Luncheon: Saturday, April 13

Bid on a playhouse for your backyard! 

Go online to bid on a playhouse starting April 9.

Themes include a pirate ship, spaceship, helicopter and more!

A panel of judges that will inspect the playhouses and awards will be presented for Pick of Parade in both the Student and Builder categories, Best in Craftsmanship, and Best in Innovation.
